Institute of the Agri-Food Quality Standard & Testing TechnologyYunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciencesfounded in 2004. Its mission is to develop agri-food safety technology, focus on agricultural quality standard, quality safety, analysis and testing, functional compositions and processing, DUS testing for new varieties. There are 3 administrative agencies, 4 research teams and 5 affiliated institutions.

There are 52 staffs, include 5 professors, 12 associate professors, and 1 PD, 20 MS, 4 “Provincial-level two specialized scientists”, 3 MS tutors. The two research teams on agri-food quality safety and agri-food processing were authorized as innovative teams of Yunnan Academy of Agriculture Science. 15 scientific and technology achievements were awarded on provincial-level, 4 patents of inventions were authorized, 4 national standards and 28 agriculture standards were released, 6 monographs were published. In recent years, more than 20 academic papers are published, 3 to 5 standards were draw up and released annually.
